I love going downtown in Cincinnati. I especially love going there with my seniors who want an urban feel to their senior portraits. Sam, a Class of 2017 senior at Campbell County High School in Alexandria, Ky knew exactly what kind of pictures she wanted. Typically, I provide professional hair and make up for my girls if they want it but Sam is really good at doing her own. Perfect eyebrows, great contouring, and some good lipstick are three things that can really make your images pop! I was impressed!
Sam brought along her Mom, Traci and her bff, Jordan who was great at getting her to smile and laugh right on cue. I usually require that my seniors bring along a close friend. No one wants posey, corny smiles in their photographs. Bringing along a friend who knows the perfect inside joke to make you crack up fixes that issue! Thanks Jordan!
We started at Piatt Park, walked through some alleyways, and wound up down on the Banks at Smale Park. We got a good variety of backgrounds during our photo shoot. Fire escapes, paved alleys, buildings covered in ivy, the Roebling Bridge, and the grassy areas of the park were all places we stopped to take snaps.
